2025-2026 Art and Writing contest information:
- PHYSICAL entries should be submitted to Manhattan Public Library at 629 Poyntz Ave.
- DIGITAL entries (essays, poetry) should be submitted to [email protected]
- Deadline for entry submissions is January 9, 2026.
- Late entries cannot be accepted.
- Each entry MUST be attached to a signed and legible entry form.
- Categories: Art (2 or 3D) or Writing - Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, Post HS
- Cash awards for best in each category.
- Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and relevance to the theme.
- Winning entries will be announced at the MLK Community Celebration, framed, and will be included in the public Manhattan Arts Center gallery exhibit for Jan/Feb.
