2023-2024 Art and Writing contest information:
- THEME: "The Time is Always Ripe to Do Right."
- PHYSICAL entries should be submitted to Manhattan Arts Center (MAC) at 1520 Poyntz Ave. (The building with the big red awning)
- Please note: MAC hours: M-F 12-5:30 pm
- DIGITAL entries (essays, poetry) should be submitted to the MAC education department: [email protected]
- Deadline for entry submissions is December 15, 2023 at 5:30 pm.
- Categories: Art (2 or 3D) or Writing - Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, Post HS
- Cash awards for best in each category.
- Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and relevance to the annual theme (above).
- Winning entries will be announced at the MLK Community Celebration on January 13th and will be included in the public MAC gallery exhibit for Jan/Feb.
