​2024-2025 Art and Writing contest information: 
  • PHYSICAL entries  should be submitted to Manhattan Public Library at 629 Poyntz Ave.  
  • DIGITAL entries (essays, poetry) should be submitted to [email protected]
  • Deadline for entry submissions is Friday, December 20, 2024 at 9 pm.
  • Late entries cannot be accepted.
  • Each entry MUST be attached to a signed and legible entry form.
  • Categories: Art (2 or 3D) or Writing - Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12, Post HS
  • Cash awards for best in each category.
  • Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and relevance to the theme.
  • Winning entries will be announced at the MLK Community Celebration, framed, and will be included in the public Manhattan Arts Center gallery exhibit for Jan/Feb.
